How do you train thousands of in-store workers who are not your employees, do not have email addresses and may leave their roles after only a few months?
That is the reality for any lottery with a retail network. Regulations require retailers to be trained on responsible gaming, preventing sales to minors and anti-money laundering measures. Auditors also expect lotteries to prove that the training worked. Yet the practical logistics of delivering and tracking this training across hundreds or thousands of independent stores can be genuinely challenging.
In this live session, Laura Da Silva Gomes, Founder and CEO of digitalRG, will walk participants through the five steps to setting up retailer training using digitalRG, demonstrated live on the actual platform. Participants will see how sales teams can deliver training during routine store visits, how knowledge and compliance data are collected automatically, and how a defensible audit trail is built as a natural byproduct of day-to-day operations.
The session will also show where retailer training sits in the frameworks arriving in 2027: the updated European Lotteries Responsible Gambling Standard, with its new Retail Channels section and Foundational, Performing and Advanced tiers, and the EU’s new Anti-Money Laundering Regulation, which requires ongoing, documented training for the agents and distributors who sell lottery products.
Participants will also hear directly from a lottery putting this into practice today. Guest speaker Marie Gueye, QHSE Engineer and Responsible Gaming Focal Point at LONASE, will join the session with a live case study on how her lottery trains its retail network and the results they are seeing.
This hands-on session will include a live platform demonstration and Q&A.
